The Voyager 1 spacecraft, launched by NASA in 1977, is currently the farthest human-made object from Earth. As of June 6, 2023, it is over 22.4 billion kilometers (13.9 billion miles) away from our planet. Voyager 1 is traveling through interstellar space, beyond the influence of our Sun's solar wind, and is still actively communicating with Earth. It has provided valuable data about our solar system and continues to explore the vastness of space.
